Martijn van Rooijen is data steward at the RIVM. His aim is to handle data as efficiently as possible. In order to support scientific staff as much as possible, he provides tooling – data management plans, (meta)data catalogue – and guidelines. This involves cooperation with important disciplines such as privacy, legal and the archive. In addition to his core business, Martijn also provides direct support to researchers who want to make their data more FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable).
Jeroen Alblas is data manager at the COVID-19 unit of the Centre for Infectious Disease Control of the RIVM. He is team leader of data management and since the outbreak of the Covid-19 crisis has been involved in setting up the data flows between GGD, hospitals and other healthcare chain partners. Seasoned in the field of data and with a background in BI consultancy, Jeroen shares his passion, experiences and learnings from the past Covid-19 period.
Bas is a technology leader in the AI and big data domain. His academic background is in Artificial Intelligence and Informatics. Trained as a software engineer and architect, he has 15 years experience in delivering succesful data-driven projects with a wide range of companies and technologies. He is a regular speaker on conferences and informal meetings, where he brings a mixture of market context, business cases, architecture and source code in an enthusiastic way towards his audience.
Mark van der Veen MMIT is Data Architect at NN Group and has been working there since 2000. He designs and supports organizations from a holistich vision to generate Business benefits.
Since 2010 he has been responsible for delivering data driven implementations for practical organizational issues. Ranging from Data Quality Issues, Product migrations and new legislation. Examples of these implementations are a Data warehouse environment, an organization wide Quality Control Register and a Process and Data driven migration approach with supporting IT. Mark has also been the driving force behind the NN Life Data Governance (2017) and Data Strategy & Governance voor NN Non-life (2021).
Johan Krebbers is VP IT Innovation and GM Emerging Digital Technologies for Shell and in these roles he is accountable for defining the future elements of the IT strategy for Shell and spotting new digital technologies. As part of these roles he maintains an active link with external parties and in particular start ups.
Peter Vieveen is data management professional.
